Privacy at Linkuage.

Sign-in and your account

Google sign-in provides your verified email address and a Google account identifier so we can create or find your Linkuage account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or ChatGPT account. Email sign-in uses a single-use link delivered through Resend. Linkuage stores its own session credentials; it does not retain Google's sign-in access or identity tokens.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the sign-in flow. You can sign out of this browser, or sign out everywhere from your account page.

Content and AI processing

When you request translation, explanations, speech, subtitles or related features, the content needed for that request is sent to Linkuage's server and its configured service providers. This can include selected text, conversation context, transcripts, audio and attachments you choose. Context-aware video translation may send the full transcript. Dictionary lookup sends the lookup word or phrase and selected languages.

Do not submit content you do not want processed by these services. AI service providers apply their own processing and retention policies. Content and audio may be cached to support playback, reuse and saved work.

Your saved library

Cloud library sync stores saved text, translations, notes, names, creation times and source links. It does not upload generated audio as part of library sync. Devices signed into the same account can merge these saved items. Explicit deletions made while sync is active propagate to your connected devices.

Cloud sync is available while you have usable credit. At zero credit, cloud access pauses and cloud library items enter a seven-day grace period before cleanup. Cloud cleanup never sends deletion instructions for your local copies. If you add credit later, surviving local copies can be synced again. Backups can retain removed cloud items for up to seven additional days.

Infrastructure, security and records

Railway hosts the service and account database; Cloudflare R2 stores private cached files. Resend delivers sign-in emails. We keep account identifiers, credit packs, request cost reports and operational records to run the service, reconcile usage and investigate failures or abuse. Security controls use request rates and network identifiers to protect free features and account access.

Account and financial records are separate from the seven-day cloud-library cleanup. Payment collection is currently disabled. Approved development accounts may receive test credit without payment; AI usage from those packs is real.

For access, correction, account deletion or privacy questions, contact support@linkuage.com. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting. Removing the extension does not by itself delete your cloud account. Some records may need to be retained for security, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements.
