Reuse what is already ready
Cached results can be replayed or revisited without repeating the same generation. Trying the prepared examples on this website uses no credit.
Some costs arrive later
A request can finish before its final cost is reported. Pending or unconfirmed activity remains identifiable in the extension’s credit history, rather than being presented as a new request.
Check balance and expiry
Credit expiry, where applicable, is displayed in the extension. Zero or expired credit restricts paid features. Available YouTube subtitle mode remains separate.
Your account, across your devices
Sign in to your personal account to see active credit, queued packs, purchases and saved text. Shared public demos never reveal your private library.
Quality begins with context.
Linkuage’s video translation requests include the available transcript for context. That can use more input than a short isolated excerpt; content quality is the priority.
Turn off the main word-linking button when you only need translation. Linkuage then requests less output. Hiding highlight colors changes appearance only—it does not reduce generated work.
Dictionary lookup is currently free without sign-in, subject to fair-use limits. Pronunciation and other AI generation require AI Credit. Cloud sync needs usable credit; at zero credit it pauses, followed by seven days of grace before cloud cleanup. Local saved items are never deleted by cloud cleanup.

We’re preparing a way to use your own ChatGPT account in Linkuage. Once available, supported text processing would use your ChatGPT allowance instead of Linkuage AI Credit.
Launch depends on OpenAI approval and availability for eligible accounts. ChatGPT plan limits would apply. There is no confirmed launch date; today, live processing uses Linkuage’s built-in AI and AI Credit.
